Ok guys, im in need of help please. Im thinking of a new business venture and i have to read up on tons and tons of stuff. But a big help would be if you guys could list all the motor and bike racing that you have watched (that may or may not be on anymore) and do watch. Also not really that important, but the channels on which (if it's still on) they air too.

I used to watch F1 when it when it good (Some of you younger members might not remember back that far) Then Senna died and they started doing that stupid refuelling during pitstops. I don't watch it anymore.

I used to love Moto GP but I think it's only on EuroSport now. Rainey, Schwantz, Mamola, Spencer, Roberts. Them were the days. Anyone remember Barry Sheen?

World Superbikes is still pretty good.

His name was Sheene!!!!!

MotoGP is live on BBC this year. They are showing all rounds live for the first time.

WSB lost its way with the single tyre rule, but is back on line this year with more factory teams involved so it's not so much just a Ducati championship.

So what's the idea Terrible? I may be able to give you some pointers or help as I work in the bike business.

Well at the moment im working for a tv company that are ending their contract next year, so im looking towards my new employment. And i've had an idea for ages of a new channel loosely based on the F1 and Rally season, but with older races filling the time between. So like one day you could be watching a classic F1 race from the 80's followed by maybe some WSB from the past and then maybe a few more races of different classes. You'd have different races each day (hopefully in season order), and then when the actual live events too place, you'd have them too. Also with F1, you wouldn't get just the race, but all the races between qualifying etc... and making a proper whole day of it. Plus each week/month we'll have competitions etc...

There's loads of stuff i have to look into still and the ITC/OffCom regulations are gonna be a nightmare. Also working out the cost is gonna be scary, but i don't see it as being impossible.

If anyone has any bright ideas of programming or anything then let me know.

Sky Digital - Channel 413 - MotorsTV - already does most of the stuff you mention :(

Yeah, not quite the same though. it will have a little of the same programming, but less than 20% of Motors TV already shows.

Didn't know about ITV and M&M. When did this happen?? I thought M&M was still done by Flextech?
