j1mb0b1
I have just got my first Supra Rz manual 6 speed, I have noticed a rattling when i pull the cluch up and when changing gears. it also makes a clumping sound when changing but i know this is normal for the 6 speed manual but not sure about the rattling any ideas Thanks Jamie... Chris Wilson
Stock clutch? Many aftermarket ones rattle, or cause gear train noise.
j1mb0b1
hi chris i think it has had a new clutch on some point so this is normal then ?
Chris Wilson
If it's a twin plate, or a clutch where the stock dual mass flywheel has been changed for a single piece unit then yes, it's normal. If it's a stock clutch and flywheel it suggests something is worn badly or broken. I would need to look at the clutch (none invasive job) and see what type is in it.
