Sheefa
Hi all, My best mate is going for a romantic weekend in London with this lovely new girl he's picked up. He's a little like me, a bit mad but wants a fairly quiet and interesting weekend down there. They're staying in Islington so any suggested nice bars and restaurants around there would be good. In the day, where could they go? I suggested Hyde Park if it's nice and sunny. What about if it rains? Any other real interesting/quirky places? Thanks guys. caliAl
The river cruise is very good. I worked in London for a few years and still found it very interesting.

stevie_b
To eat, maybe Belgo Centraal (Soho and other places). It's a quirky dining experience (eat in a cave, drink Belgian beer out of a glass that can't stand up by itself). I've only ever been there once, about 8 years ago, so if other people think it's rubbish, listen to them first!
