Homer
Which ECU do you have? Ryan.G would be the person most recommend, you'd have to contact him to get a price, but he's quite reasonable
JustGav
I'm suspecting this is a stock ECU, in which case a remap would be hellish expensive, but more importantly, what is the spec of the rest of the car other than import TT?

thesword22
hi guys cheers for the response so far it is standard apart from a hks ssqv2 and a filter. have toyed with the idea of putting the airbox back on or amking a replacement. will be having a custom straight through stainless exhaust (from the first cat back) made up very soon. will be 2.5 tubing. Homer
You don't need to remap it. All thats needed is an ECU reset (disconnect battery for 2-3 minutes) and the ECU will adjust for the new fuel - which by the way should only be high octane like Optimax. The ECU can adjust itself a surprising degree to cope with different petrol, but after 10 yrs of experience by members here there is absolutely no need to do anything to the ECU to cope for UK fuel. Just make sure you get a full tank of petrol to flush out any old stuff thats in there and do the reset mentioned above
supra dan
what makes you think it needs remapped? the stock ecu isnt really mappable so may be another problem. you could try resetting the ecu tho. ok too slow
AndyT
I still get this mixed up but I think the 1st cat should be the first out if you intend to leave a cat in at all. I'll go search it out.
thesword22
tbhe battery was removed while it was in the workshop a few months ago. all i run it on is 99 octane rating is this good enough. i had it dynoed a while back and the graph was all over the price. the bloke said it needed sorting out. Homer
i had it dynoed a while back and the graph was all over the price. the bloke said it needed sorting out. Then you have another issue Can you post the dyno print on here, ideally with the AFR plot. What boost level is it running at?
thesword22
i will try and find the printout the boost seems to be fine but i have only just stopped using it daily so i can work on it and a boost gauge is my first priority. i have one its just having the time tlo fit it lol
thesword22
i have the dynolicous software for the ipod touch i dont know if it will be any help but i will go out and do a run with it and it will show the graph. be back in a about

Really need an AFR print or readings from your AFR gauge when we're talking about fueling. Is it decatted?
JustGav
Does it have any mods on it, boost controller, fcd or the like? Sounds almost like it is BPU'd and the overfuelling bit would be at the top like it is expected, but without the dyno chart it is hard to say. Homer
02 sensor may need changing while your at it That's only make a difference off-boost Gaz. Though it's a little unclear where the issue is, what it is, or even if there is one!
