MarkR
Oh how I hate abbreviated speak.... particularly the over used... lol For some reason, I just can't stand it when I see it in a thread (waits for someone to use it in this one...) Also don't like "IMHO". I find "IMO" to be far more effective if you absolutely have to use it, as I don't know anyone that gives a dishonest opinion. Another rant is the way my wife starts every sentence with "To be honest"... makes me cringe everytime she uses it. One more..... "innit". A guy on the train yesterday was having a rather loud conversation with his friend on a mobile innit. He used "innit" in every sentence, sometimes more than once bruv, and finished off every sentence with it too innit. The call went on for about 10 minutes and I was close to homicidal...innit. You know what I mean innit!

Gaz6002
I hate text-speak with a passion - but I'm not sure LOL fits in that bracket. That's more internet speak. I think using text speak in anything other than texts signifies everything that's wrong with this country and it makes me want to resort to terrorism. Charlotte
When I find myself saying 'to be fair' in a patronising way after something that obviously was very fair I realise I have been spending too much time with a certain friend who says it after every sentence! Kieran
Oh how I hate abbreviated speak.... particularly the over used... lol Must admit that does get right up my pipe as well because it's so over-used. I wonder how many people are genuinely "laughing out loud" when they write it, especially after every sentence. Got nowt against other internet acronyms like STFU and WTF though 'cos it takes any effort out of swearing.
couv3z
damn straight! the school should have known I have "word bliendness" had to wait till I was at college to be told, and when they figured it out I had passed my course already school system sucks

Guest Angry Koala
In Cardiff it's "what it is, is....." at the start of every question or statement. Just ask the question or say what you have to say and I'll know what it is without you telling me that what's coming next out of your tiny illiterate brain is what it is you thick tw@t!!!! aaaaarrggggghhhhhhhhhhh I also wish to suggest an instant ban for anyone who uses the term "fella" especially in the sentence "good work fella!". MarkR
This is the wrong thread for this, but at the risk of starting too many "rant" threads I'll stick it here: QUESTION: Jamie, how much did they cost? ANSWER: See first thread For crying out loud. Read the bl**dy thread before you ask stupid questions!!!
Scott
Does not bother me in the slightest, I like using lol alot as it is easy to miss read a text or whatever with out seeing expresstion's Thats my main reason for using it so much.
