SilverSoop
Up to £1.30 a mile for peak periods, that means my 214 mile round trip to the office every friday would cost me £278.20!! Madness! B*gger that! I pay enough road tax as it is, let alone that on top!
Rob
carnt see this happening imho, surly its to do with human rights and all that when they are tracking everyone and seeing what they are up to and when, i just carnt see it. Ah but don't forget, terrorists need cars too, and we need to fight terror. Basically, we, the public, are like an enemy army in disarray. We're all complaining against the Govt, some of us think the tax is too high but others begrudge those who can afford to drive Cayenne Turbos. Some of us complain about the busy traffic but its always those people causing the problem, not us. Some of us want to strike against petrol costs but others say "how will I get to work if theres no petrol?" That's why we're a pushover for the Govt. tonyhawk
I think the problem with politicians (with maybe the odd exception), can be summed up by the late great Douglas Adams: "Those who want power, shouldn't have it"
