Soonto_HAS_soop
Well after the few threads about snow and how horrible it is to drive a soop in, I just gotta say (now that I've had 3 inches of snow) that I just love driving the soop in this stuff!! OK the salt and grit is crap, but the slow speed drifting possibilities and sideways fun just makes it all worth while. No cars are on the roads, car slides with hardly any power, almost the best conditions to "learn" to drive a RWD car. GREAT FUN!!!

Soonto_HAS_soop
Do it in moderation and in large open road areas and there is not a problem. Obviously do not do it down a narrow high kerbed one way street with parked cars.
RedM
Can I just float an idea here? Has anyone thought of putting extra weight in the boot when its snowing or really wet? I was moving two granite slabs (I have them under my speaker stands) and remembered trying to get them into the car when I bought them. Then it hit me. Could they be used to solve traction problems? Maybe put them as close to the wheels as possible, Tart em up a bit and voila.... Any thoughts?
