StuartW
NOW SOLD 16 inch Extremely light Mazda RX7 Alloys x2 with slightly used Mickey Thompson ET Street Road legal tyres! 26x11.5x16LT 2mm left before tread wear indicator. When these are new they only have a very shallow tread so plenty of life left in them. They cost around £190 each new. They have allready done over 60 runs which suprised me on how long they last considering they are sooo sticky and soft! The wheels clear uk spec calipers but only just. I ran these @ 12psi and had a 1.72 60ft time. A vast improvement for any RWYB'ers They also have the perfect offset and clear standard arches £240 plus delivery @ £

AndyT
I can vouch for the lightness. Stu threw one at me at Japfest. Couldn't really believe a wheel and tyre could be that light 'til then.

StuartW
I bet they wont clear Brembo 14" 4 pot rears I dont know but they DO clear uk spec rears..Just. I have driven the car hard on the road with these tyres/wheels and no rubbing although they are Close (About 1.5mm clearance...Plenty) Might be worth doing a search on caliper profiles? i have seen threads where this has been looked into big time. hadyn
Id love these, but how many runs do you think they have left in them?
StuartW
Id love these, but how many runs do you think they have left in them? If you read the beginning of the posts you will see. I would say at least 100 600+hp flat out manual gear runs, Remember if a tyre doesnt spin against the black stuff it will not wear. These grip sooooo well. Also whenever i do a burnout i do it with my line lock keeping the rears firmly in the wetted burnout box. StuartW
i also had a set of mickey thompson Street radials (2 grades harder rubber/About 3 grades softer than a good quality road tyre) And these shredded quite quickly compared to these ones. I can honestly say i was and am amazed on how well these last...come on someone back me up:innocent: the only reason i am selling is cus i blew my gearbox and cannot do the pod. hadyn
Will the increased traction of these tyres feck up an autobox circa BPU power levels?
extendor
I can honestly say i was and am amazed on how well these last...come on someone back me up No probs. I remember when you first showed them me early in the year when we went to Smeathorpe (when I blew the turbo on the red one, lol) and know all about your season. These tyres have done a lot of work and are surprisingly grippy and durable with loads of life left in them. Hows that?
