Hello.

First of all great web site.

i've just bought a supra non-turbo....i know, no turbo no testicles.

the car has got 75,000 miles imported through Vine place in Durham a while back. Anyway, i've got no service history, should i replace the cam belt? Also, theres a button to the left of the electric mirrors, a small switch up and down...any ideas wot it does?

thanks non-turbo owner!!

Hi everyone, im new so dont pick on me too much ;-)

Just purchased a jap spec 94 RZ TT and having some trouble insuring it...the quotes i am getting are between £1300 and £1800 until i mention its an import. Then they say "arr ook then, that'll be £3500, sir"

I will be 21 when i insure the car (25 days to go!) and have 3 years no claims and 3 points for sp30 :-(. Really struggling here, any help would be greatly appreciated!?!?

Just like to say, thanks to Jae at sky insurance, everything seems to be in perspective as he offered a very competative quote (a good £700 cheaper than anywhere else) and knew what he was talking about! thumbs up, will be taking the policy within the next week or so :)

What was your quote in the end mate if you dont mind me asking?

Just renewed with Sky again.

Spoke to Graham, very helpful. :respekt:

Other quotes were cheaper, but if I ever get to the unfortunate position that I need to make a claim, I want to be sure that they value the car the same as I do.

It's no good going with the cheapest quote, to have them turn around and say the car's only worth £3000, when you said the value was £15000 on the form :(

I'd always prefer to agree the value before an accident, than have to fight for payment after one, even if it initially costs more money.

Couldn't agree with you more mate!

Spoke with the guys at SKY on the phone over the past few days.Their quote was only a few pounds lower than the best quote I got elsewhere, but none of the other low quoting insurance companies gave me the option of an agreed value and all confirmed that they would only pay out book value in the case of a total write off.Scott was very friendly and helpful:) I would certainly recommend these guys:Pling: :)

will shop around before i go for it as wilth bell just now and paying that but if it get s crshed then they dont cover the body kit or the wheels and only get market value but i think my bell is gonna drop to about 750
