TLicense
I'm going to be looking for a rad soon.... Is it a really real brand new rad or is it recon? Are the end tanks painted or just shiney plastic? Cheers,

bolarbag
£500 quid for an ally one?Who from? Best rad on the market just now is PWR thats aroud 300quid delivered from one of the U.S traders, but anything that will fit between the two chassis legs and has good quality cores is a good call Failing that stump up for a new oem one

tonyhawk
I resently bought an ASI one which is a Chinese copy of the dual core Fluidyne unit. It cost £80, plus £90 delivery (from China). Arrived looking rather nice I found it via this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=147793&highlight=fluidyne
TLicense
Failing that stump up for a new oem one That's ideally what I want. Having designed cooling systems for some reasonably high powered motors, I know it's not as simply as "bolt as big as you can on".

Cheers, its shiny plastic mate, not painted. its a brand new item not a recon. i said to the guy when ordered i didnt want a recon or mine fixed just abrand new rad, he did say he could fix mine, he said they can rebuild the plastic end tanks in brass. its the cheapest rad i could find thats for sure(its an auto rad, has the cooler built in), even has japanense writing on the box. im well pleased anyway, just hope it lasts. after all its just age why the toyota ones spilt anyway. soon as its fitted il post up some pics fitted. fitting tomorrow hopefully, got toyota forlife red coolent to go in also, job done.
