Nice build! love seeing the V8 represented!

Thanks, could not of got this far without your engineering help and advice (much appreciated). How's your machine by the way? Not been on the lexus forum for a bit, so haven't kept up.

Bit of an update today too. Picked up the car from Primary Designs earlier and I have to say I'm very pleased with the result. Very pleased.

The manifolds look great and are a 4 into 1 design with a proper collector tube. One of the chaps took some pics for me before fitting as I couldn't get down there myself (very kind of him I thought as I didn't even ask). Once he emails them to me I'll post 'em up asap. As for the rest of the system, there are lambda sensors before and after the cats and 3 inch pipe has been used throughout with the exit being 4 inches. Sits very nicely, new brackets where needed, etc, etc. Again, I'll take some pics tmrw and post up as it got too dark by the time I returned from dropping off the trailer.

Its so nice to see an exhaust poking out from under the bumper. The project is back on track! :)

I know, it was a bit of a tease eh?

You can't see that much from looking into the bay, so it'll be better to wait for the pics off the car. Also, I need some axle stands to get the car off the ground again (mate broke one, typical). Once thats done I can take some cool shots of the underneath and paste 'em together. Thats the plan anyway.

Ok, some (poor) pics of the new exhaust.

Lighting is crap sorry, and angles are too as the car is still on the ground, but you get the general idea. Its quite low so ground clearance is a little reduced at the back compared to standard. Still not received manifold pics yet. I'll get some better shots when I can get underneath.

A well needed update.

Lyndon (loom chap), came over yesterday to finish up in the bay, install the ecu and base map, and start up the motor. It was a long day (and a long story), but I won't bother you with all that...

The engine is now running and it sounds sweet. I am a very happy chappy :D:D:D

Many thanks to Lyndon for his time and sticking around well into the night to sort a few teething troubles, cheers mate  I hope the other half isn't to upset at me for keeping you so long.

Anyway, see attached link for a short youtube video. I hope you like.

Awesome mate congrats, i know its been a long time coming for you!

Sounds brutal

Tell me about it. So much for "not letting the project drag on", which is what I said about a year and half ago. Still, yesterday made it all worthwhile. I don't think I even mind if it doesn't produce that much power, the sound is awesome.
