dannysupratt
Hi i am putting my bmw up for sale as i have developed a wrist injury and wont be able to drive for a while. I bought this car as a go between while i was having my toyota supra fixed up. I have ended up keeping the car for about a year and it has been a great car and gets lots of complements. The is a genuine sport version from the factory (says on log book) which comes with the full motorsport bodykit, leather m3 seats seats and msport badges. If you know much about the 328 engine you will know that most cars were fitted with a nicasil liners on the engine bloke, bmw found out that uk fuel was eating away at them and destroying the engine at around 60-100k. As you could imagine this is an expensive fix as bmw would not do a recall, they would only change the engines on the cars with symptoms of the problem. Luckly this car has been fitted with a brand new engine and pistons from bmw at 60,000 miles so the engine is as new with only 40,000 miles on it. This can all be proved. The car now has 100,000 miles on it which is low for a bwm and runs sweet as a nut. It has new wheels on it which have covered about 1,000 miles and all the tires all still like new. Overall the interior is in very good condition for the age. Most bmw's with leather interior of this age are battered but this one is very good with only one small wear patch on the drivers bolster, which i am going to get a valeter to have a look at as it can be repaired buy a good leather cleaner. The car has a cat 1 alarm and imobiliser. Oil and filter were changed about 1,000 ago but a toyota garage, also the thermostat has just been changed which is a common problem. I am also going to change the airflow meter, this played up a while ago it is ok now but i will change it anyway before sale of the car. The car also has the full tool kit in the boot and a new spare m sport alloy wheel. MOT until end of october Tax until end of october HPI clear, any inspection welcome Bad points: There are a few marks and a couple of small dents around the drivers side. At the very top of the passenger door the paint has slightly faded for some reason, this is the only place it has done this and im not sure why. There is some surface rust on the roof along the windscreen. The book value for a private sale on this car is £3100 and a dealer is £3900 so i have priced the car to reflect these few cosmetic marks. I am just being completly honest here the car overall out side looks mint and the paint work really gleams. Sorry i dont have many good pictures i will give the car a good clean this weekend and get lots of pictures including the interior. For the asking price i will Mot the car, get some new mats and have the car professionally valeted and have the leater seats treated, otherwise i will take slightly less. Thanks for looking if you need to know anything atall please feel free to contact me either by phone or email. 07894759884 Thanks danny £2500ovno

My previous car was a '95 328i. It went up in flames at about 80k miles. Insurance money paid for the Supra, so good news all round! Nice car to drive, though - it was a good choice for my 1st RWD in retrospect - decent handling with enough power to be fun, but not enough to be dangerous. Not much between a 328i and an N/A MkIV, IMO.

dannysupratt
They can be fun if you want them to be but i guess you dont buy a bwm for power unless its got an m in from of its name. I think its got just over 190bhp though so its not bad for some tail action
