Franko
i think they should stay as a testament of Sheffields industrial revolution
Alex
I thought everything built pre 1990 was automatically listed in this country and impossible to knock down for fear of making progress... I mean it would be a tradgedy if we knocked down all the old sh1t to make way for new and potentially allow us to move on rather than dwell on the past. Yeah, I mean - if only they'd thought that about all of the historic monuments in this country.

thesword22
i know these towers very well i used to live only a few miles from them they were going to demolish them years ago but they would have had to have dfone it brick by brick cos they are litlerally 20 feet from the m1. this should be interesting to watch and see if it all goes to plan but i can see the m1 being shut for a while. That's where they filmed 1,000,000 year BC and didn't even need to use any set dressing! *await the influx of Sheffield folk just like the last time he lacked respect for that s**thole*
