Guest Tyler
Friend of mine runs this And noticed this 7's from a supra Steve Whittaker pulled a massive launch to clock an astonishing 7.7! This was the first 7 by a Jap car in Europe, and it easily won him the first eliminator against Leon. carl0s
A mk3 Supra too. Wonder if it's a 2JZ, 7M, or something totally different?
mk2john
A mk3 Supra too. Wonder if it's a 2JZ, 7M, or something totally different? Steve Whittaker runs a 2JZ with a huge single turbo on it in his MK3. There was a feature on it in a recent issue of Redline I think. The car is called The Daywalker, a picture of which can be found here: http://www.motoraddicts.com/members/xspowercouk/photos/00053875

MarkR
Also, I found out from my mate who was one of the engine builders that the turbo is indeed an XSpower turbo, and I think it retails at about £600, but it's a Titan built head with some huge cams (bigger than 272, apparently the longest duration they could get). The internals are apparently not XSPower (although I'm not sure they even make XS internals)
