michael
Why do so many people say "I'm going to Tescos" rather than "I'm going to Tesco"? Nobody says "Asdas" so why does Tesco suffer this ordeal?
jamesmark
I must admit I say 'Asdas' too.
Thorin
Well Sainsburys and Morrisons have an 'S' on the end so why shouldn't the others?
SupraStar 3000
Depends if the name is a generic name or the name of a person. For example, mcdonald's. Name of a person. or Pizza Hut

tbourner
I go to Tesco since Asda told me we wouldn't be given free carrier bags any more. Tesco are annoying because after a certain time they don't have any checkout staff and expect us to do it all ourselves, so I make a big hash of it so they have to come over and do it all for me anyway. I don't put the 's' on the end of Asda or Tesco.
