merckx
employee;) Insurance or something or an AA patrolman? I wouldn't mind being a patrolman but as fas as I'm aware you need specific qualifications.
bolarbag
Insurance or something or an AA patrolman? I wouldn't mind being a patrolman but as fas as I'm aware you need specific qualifications. And you have to work dogdy shifts... It also appears that you must not have an absolute clue about cars in general other than where the towing eye is, from my experience
merckx
It also appears that you must not have an absolute clue about cars in general other than where the towing eye is, from my experience I can imagine it being more and more like this with electronic problems that they cannot fix. Gaz6002
I hate the AA so much they almost drove me to terrorism. It was only after waiting 10 hours on the autobahn for the ADAC that I found they're all the same, the world over.

michael
Are you the guy they send out first despite being told on the phone they will need a low transporter or the second chap that comes out 3 hours later with the useless one that rips the front, bottom and rear off the car? MrRalphMan
lol Had the first happen and the guy (not AA) who took my car away to be repaired tried his besst with the second.
merckx
I received very good service when the front wheel on my van decided to come off whilst driving on a dual carriageway on my way home. Initially I was told I would be waiting an hour and a half but but the recovery vehicle turned up only twenty minutes later, pulled my long wheel base van onto the back of his truck and took me home. Supragal
The day they send someone out to any of my breakdowns that knows more than how to a)scratch their ar$e a b)generically spray everything under the bonnet with some magic spray can that fixes nothing I will be happy. I don't even have cover at the moment, I should take it out but I resent paying so much money for basically a long wait and a tow home. supra_aero
strange, I have found them extremely useful in the past. Always arrive on time and generally diagonose the problem. They even towed my car to a garage at my convenience when I wasn't stranded, but car was parked at home undriveable for a month or so. Same as only used them once very carefull with the car and got to me in 45 mins very good service. Hell of a lot cheaper than calling out a private tow truck as well lol.
