SupraTTBPU
Hello,... Is my first turbo dead ? When i am acclerating i dont see any boost till i get to 4-5000revs,then I see 0,2 bar boost. I didnt have any signs of blue smoke out the exhaust, or the death whine, or even sign of oil in the air intake or intercooler pipes. Also i dont hear it spooling but my exhaust is now louder then before... And i also checked all hoses and the hoses form the IC !!! all are correct. IS my 1st turbo dead ? cheers

dannysupratt
Have you checked your exhaust for bits of your turbo?

gt-åkare
not all hoses but the inlet hoses to the charger. Then " grab" the wheel and see if you can move it
AlexJames
I had this problem a few months back and it was a hose coming from the Air Actuator... its a small hose, probs has a small split in it. Do a search on here for actuators and there is usually a help file.. it helped me wonders! If you have any more problems let me know and I can probs lead you to it!! SupraTTBPU
Can it be that the imapller wheel of the turbo is sticking ?
AlexJames
I really think if you check the IACV or near that it will be there... it sounds just like my problem. I thought it was real serious and it wasnt... if your a member here there is LOADs of help guides and diagrams on it.. I fixed it myself because of those guides! R Black
I've just developed this problem, 2nd turbo comes on strong at say 4k and i get like 0.7 odd bar, but nothing below, car is very loud and droney now too
R Black
Just been outside poking around the IACV & its actuator, and shiver me timbers if it has'nt fixed it. I think moving the actuator up & down is what did it, but i can't say for sure. Does anyone know if this is this likely to be a reoccuring problem?.
