Hi folks..

I recently ordered an Thor Speed Delimiter for my Mk IV. Yesterday I tried to connect it to the car. At first it was quite easy(after i found the ecu..)

cut the one cable, connected the other ones..

But now there are still 2 cables remaining and in the instructions i cant find any use for them..

in Addition to that The instruction wants me to cut some cables at the:

Speedometer

Odometer

Cruise

plugs..

can anyone help me?? :swear:

But you don't need a DSC do you? They're just for converting everything from KPH to MPH, I assume that being in Germany you'll want all that stuff left in KPH.

If so, just connect up the TSD wires and forget about the other stuff.

The installation diagram (which I've also attached to this thread) says in quite bold letters...

"ignore other wires"

So it's simple! Ignore them. You don't need them

Also why not just ask use first rather than the forum? Far easier?

The unit is universal and used for speedo conversion, delimiting and also combined converting and delimiting depending on the software installed.

Sorry, in Germany it usually takes a lot of Days, to get an answer from the "Sellers", if you get any at all.. So i thought, it would be easier this way..

Thanks for the answers, "ignore other wires" i understood, but on the second page there was the instruction to cut off some wires at the plugs described above.. so i was a little uncertain

(sorry for wrong spelling!)
