sc_dragon
ello guys and gals! I'm hoping to become an owner of a nice mkiv Supra soon - so i'm on the look out for a cheap tt aerotop for a project!

AndyT
Welcome to the club. Good luck too. Although the words cheap - Twin Turbo and aerotop don't usually go together. There's a couple here for sale. Both are 5 figures though.
sc_dragon
Cheers guys and thanks! I know i have my work cut out for me - but i'll prob sacrifice the tt for the aerotop if needs be. Decisions......decisions!
R3DG3CKO ROB
Hi /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif and welcome to the club Doubt you'll find a decent TT Aero for less than 9k tbh - they do come up from time to time but could be cheaper to buy an NA and do an engine swap Rob

sc_dragon
Thanks for the warm welcome! Cool - thats a good idea! How much is a tt engine?
R3DG3CKO ROB
you could budget 3-4k to get the work done I'd say - then you just need to find yourself a bargain of an Aerotop I'm sure there are a few traders on here who will be able to help. R3DG3CKO ROB
Nice to meet you all! Thats not bad - need to look for cheap aerotop.....! Any ideas of who to contact and how much a cheap one would cost? Get some quotes for the engine swap too, Phoenix and Silverstone Garage are supposed to be good and I said a Bargain, not cheap aerotop... lol... there's a big difference... Few things to watch out for with aerotops are ; leaky roof and window seals Rounded bolt holes creaky noises Make sure it's got the brackets in the boot (if not it's prob been converted) Make sure it's had no accident damage as Cat D write offs can twist the chasis enough to screw the roof up without looking too bad. (do an hpi check) Good luck with the search mate and enjoy...

Snooze
Phoenix and Silverstone Garage are supposed to be good Mark @ Phoenix is the absolute best. Unfortunately - he won't be cheap as you'll need to get the car shipped to Oz and back for the work now he's shut up shop over here
