jacko
I thought i'd put up some pictures of a Pod car that a mate and i own. Now...... before anyone starts, it is a rather tongue in cheek project lol- we know it looks awful......... But....... it isnt that slow and that's the best thing. It's a Subaru Legacy 2.0 4WD Turbo and it cost us £100! We've done a few bits to it, exedy clutch, turbo back exhaust with ill fitting back box, air filter, replaced charge cooler with tmic oh and a nice tank of gas...... To date its quickest time has been a 14.1, but that was without nitrous. We've only run it once with the gas on so far and it blew the intercooler pipe in 2 lol, so let off way before the 1/4 mile and it still did a 14.3, so it's going to be well down into the 13's I find projects like this great because you can try things out without having to worry too much and learn a lot from them. Anyway, here's some pics..... enjoy.... My personal fav lol

jacko
oh and i forgot to mention, it's got 182,000 miles on the clock and runs sweet as a nut! lol. When that intercooler pipe split there would have been pretty much just fuel and N2O going into the engine and it was fine!!

jacko
Here's a quick update of the Legacy project- We decided that we should give the car a respray for 2009 and my work had just had a spray booth installed (not big enough to get the car in though....) So we played around with some gazebos and plastic sheeting and managed to get it painted (badly) Prepping- Finished article All we need now is a n/s headlight and a grille- we went a bit mad at the stripping stage..... jacko
hmmm well, i picked the colour from the industrial paint swatch we had at work- doesnt give the best finish, as it is meant for painting girders and stuff like that lol- but it was cheap so hey
