RobSheffield
I did a quick search but it didnt bring much up. I have a company car due soon, so i just bought myself a Starlet to get to the office in the meantime, to keep it in the Toyota family! I dont expect to keep it longer than 2-3 months at the most, and i wondered, can i insure it for 3 months only? Need it insuring so i can tax it and drive it Quick pic of it! mathew
my sister was in the same position and the quote she got for the few months she needed for came in as almost as much as a full years premium. in the end she took out the full year policy which turned out to be lucky as she needed to keep the car for a further 3 more months than first planned. Guest Budz86
Rob, I'd take out a full year's policy but pay monthly on it, then cancel when it's not needed. Like it's been said, you might need it for longer. Only thing I'd check is how much it will be to cancel the policy, and how much notice etc. Downside to this is that you won't gain any no-claims Sweet motor btw, I heard they are fun to drive

Jamesy W
Norwich Union also do a pay as you drive insurance scheme, could be worth looking into especially if it's only for going to and from work.
