SuperSupra
I'm going to be sellig my NA Supra soon, as the practicality of having a not very spacious, might as well be 2 seater, petrol guzzling, £150 per tyre car is well, none existent. I wanted to ask people who have sold them in the past something - I have a few issues that need to be resolved, and wondered if there are certain things that people would sort before selling as the amount it would probably cost to fix would be outweighed by the amount extra I will get in the sale. The other option of course is to not bother sorting them, as the sale price won't be affected too much. Bit random I know, but here's the issues:- Dodgy paintwork on the front bumper - peeling near headlight Rust on rear wheel arch - a circle about the size of a 50p piece Brakes are rubbing, whatever that means - quite loudly sometimes Squeaky clutch - not the pedal though - it's louder outside Some kind of rubbing when I turn sharply right - sounds like metal on metal - anyone heard of this before? Any advice would be appreciated guys as amazingly enough I've never actually sold a car that wasn't to a member of family before! I've had 3 previously, sold two to my brothers, and crashed the other!
JamieP
I think the money you would spend getting bits sorted would be more than you would get back on the sale price, best bet imo would be do an honest advert stating the bits that are wrong with the car and a realistic price. SuperSupra
OK cheers Jamie, I had a feeling that was the case to be honest, as one or two of the things that need sorting are possibly quite pricey unless you know what you're doing with them.....which I don't really.....
