supraspeed
ive put on a standard front bumper on my supe and it looks a bit odd compared to the rest of the car- big 19"s , lowered, side skirts and rear spats. the distance the bumper from the ground just looks out of preportion to the rest of the car (distance between ground and bottom of bumper). i was thinking about buying a splitter but i havent found one i like so i was thinking along the lines of an active spoiler- would it be difficult to get hold of one and fit it- even if it didn't actually work (as in was kept visable all the time/on etc) any advice about one would be great
Dave F
Very easy to fit especialy if it will be static. Not to bad a job if you want to use it either as you may have the wiring in place already.
supraspeed
does it add a lot of weight to the car?
Dave F
More so than just adding an aftermarket lip as it has the mechanism attached to it but as far as I remember it was'nt that heavy.
Homer
does it add a lot of weight to the car? It's fairly heavy for what it is, but not too bad - 10-12kg IIRC. However you can remove the motor section if it's going to be static
JohnnyW
It's not overly heavy, and does look good (i would say that though) I've got mine wired up so it can deploy and retract manually which is great for when you come across speed bumps etc Any excuse for a pic, here's mine with active spoiler: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/supra/keyed/suprakeyed1.jpg
