Jamesy W
Been a while since any pay-per-view has lived up to the hype, WOW!! The Kenny Florian - Roger Huerta fight was immense, and seeing Brock Lesnar in action wasn't too bad either.
jamesmark
Just finished watching this, what a night. Brock Lesnar is going to dominate the heavyweight devision, however maybe in a couple of years time tbh. He still showed he has a lot to learn. Georges St-Pierre vs Jon Fitch was a great fight, not knowing too much about UFC atm, I wondered why Jon was in this match-up (apart from his winning streak). Although saying that Jon Fitch is one tough guy to with stand the beating GSP gave him. Great show of respect at the end of the match. Jake
I was going to bet on GSP because I couldn't see any way Fitch could beat him, and to be fair GSP dominated the fight, but it seemed everyone else thought the same because GSP was only 1.3 to win - which are pathetic odds in a two horse race. Mark, did you see Lesner against Frank Mir? He didn't look very impressive in that one. TBH, I don't think he's going to rule the heavyweight division. TBH, I don't think he's going to rule the heavyweight division. Yeah I seen that one, and 100% agree with you. He went in all guns blazing and was made to look an amatuer. With regards to rule the heavyweight devision I think he could, purely based on his physical strength only. As far as submissions go, I would say he will never be good enough. however he has a big mountain to climb, however it depends if he has got what it takes. Maybe the more I watch UFC the more my opinion may change, as I get to know more and more fighters, as not an avid follower.
TTRickeh
Any one know when this is on Bravo?
jamesmark
It is not mate as Setanta has bought the rights iirc. So you have to torrent it. (unless someone knows of a site that has it on stream)
TTRickeh
Damn Setanta taking over the world
Jake
I used to think Matt Hughes was unbeatable. I just couldn't imagine how anyone could be better. At the moment GSP looks awesome. Lesner though, we won't know how good he is until he's has a couple of proper wars. I agree that he looks impressive but does he have/can he get the skills? Does he have the heart to continue when getting a pasting? This isn't wrestling BS. The fighters I want to see most at the moment are GSP, Thiago Alves and Michael Bisping. jamesmark
I must admit I am a WWE fan, one of the biggest soap opera on the planet lol. Was never a fan of Lenar then as it was just physical dominance (albeit scripted). Only seen one P J Penn (sp) fight quite a while ago I think it was his debut or one of his first fights in UFC, I would like to see GSP vs Penn match up. Seen a few Chuck Liddell fight and enjoyed most of them.
Tones
Brilliant night of fighting, GSP is flying to say the least, brock lesnar did what he needed to do and Heath herring simply underestimated his power! Flattened him with the first punch of the fight...Oh by the way my friend and i have just purchased a package to go see the UFC 88 in Atlanta next month . Get to go to the weigh in and meet the fighters too, cannot wait!!!

Jamesy W
I think that after Lesnar gets a few fights under his belt and works on his submissions, I really don't see anyone that could compete against him. Heath Herring is a big lump of a bloke and he just threw him around like an empty tracksuit. Herring's face after the bout looked like Sylvester Stallones' at the end of Rocky 2. Jon Fitch is one tough barsteward, I thought he was a goner a few times but still he kept coming. Hats off to him. Really can't wait to see the BJ Penn - GSP fight, that really will be something else, although I think Penn is having to move up a weight class to fight so I'm not sure how that could effect things. Penn to win though.
