Smellywelshman
Sold her last night to a couple of Polish lads. Feel like a part of me is missing, wanted to run down the lane after her. Even though (I think) I got a good price in the present climate the pile of fifties and twenties doesn't seem nearly large enough to compensate. Ah well, going for a Hilux next, so at least its a Toyota! Hope you lot dont mind if I hang around here, especially seeing as I'v only just become a lifer! Anyone got a Hilux for sale? Hahaha. Swampy442
Just a shame the Poles are probably gonna smash her up, most likely uninsured Hiluxs are great

Smellywelshman
Aye, it was a bit dodgy. They didn't phone until 9.30pm! Then they drove off with her at 11! According to them they already had 2 and were looking for another one after buying Sophia. They rekoned that theyd drive them all to Poland and get £14000 for them! I said 'best of British' and sent them on their way. Miss her soooo much! But a pickup can't be as heavy on fuel as a TT soop, can they?!? Guest GAV4350
They are fairly crap on fuel well mine is , i get roughly 300 miles to a full tank which is about 65 litres costing around £75 depending on how greedy the government is feeling

Pabs
lots of good supras going abroad now Shame really.
hadyn
The yanks pay about 15-20 grand for TTs dont they second hand? If the car is scarce, I can kind of see why people will pay big bucks for them. I think we forget how good it is sometimes in this country to have a massive grey import scene.
Guest CoolsBlue
I know for a fact i can sell my supra for 10k abroad, just the other day a tt6 facelift went for 28k down in the caribbean:D!
Pabs
so how does one get in contact with these buyers abroad then?

Dash Rendar
Well maybe this will start to drive the UK Supra prices back up then? It doesn't seem right that chavs can afford to buy these cars and then destroy them.

Smellywelshman
Prepare yourself for Supra Withdrawal Syndrome actually you can't.... Oh dear, I think it's fully set in already! Every time I look at the place on the yard where she used to sit I get a sick feeling in my stomach! Doesn't help that I've only got either my missus' Ka or the wank works combi to take my frustrations out on!
RiceRocket
Gets worse when you find you can't just overtake and dispose of slower traffic like you use to cos you need longer road space
