csa
Does anyone have a pic of the underside of a the greddy plenum. I need to see where the screms are to disasble it as I've found a leek in the gasket holding the "pipes" togheter with the surgetank. ...also...what are my chances to get if off without taking the engine out? (or at lesat tilting it?)
michel lane
You need to take the entire unit off unfortunately . The gaskets do go often unfortunately.
JamieP
You can take it out with the engine in place, as michel says the runners have to come out with it, i did it myself once and it took me all day.

JamieP
The part that connects the plenum to the head, you have to unbolt it at the head.

csa
crap! but you did it without touching the engine mounts? did you heat them to get the off or? did you take some from underneath the car? or all of them directly from above? JamieP
I never touched the engine mounts, yea got a couple from under the car, no heat needed when i did it.
Gruggs
I've taken my greddy intake manifold off a few times and was able to do it without having to remove the lower runners....just an absolute pig of a job though. Not techincally difficult, just frustrating.
