So its not fast.. but its not slow either.. but you compare it to the supra and I just dont see the point in trying to modify it to make it faster lol, cause its never gonna be as fast. I've got visions of a kitted, ICE'd up fiberglass filled showcar with an induction kit. I don't think I've ever seen a modded one of these that looks OK... any pics? marcAB10 Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I owned one of these a few years back, the electric transtop roof is amazing and sure gets you noticed, the b16 (vti/sir) engines are pretty good 0-60 in about 7.7 secs. Convert the B16 to a B20, and if its got an LSD like mine then not a lot will be able to keep up on the twisty stuff. The Del Sol (or Del Slo) as many Honda enthusiasts call it are a little heavier and slower than the mk2's, but still entertaining to drive. The vtec is pretty much bomb-proof tho, parts aren't cheap on imports and you'll be shocked at how many mechanical variations there are. First things first, get some 15" wheels on it, those look bigger and will ruin the handling. vtec is addictive tho;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
