michael
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7547267.stm Andrea Pininfarina, head of a world-famous Italian car design group, has been killed in a road accident. Mr Pininfarina was riding a scooter which was hit by a car on the outskirts of Turin early on Thursday. He was 51. Thanks for the eye candy. Axle
Its ok.. We still have people like Chris Bangle to design cars of the future... Oh!..
AndyT
Crikey only 51. I thought he was older. Mr Pininfarina's designs have been around a long time.
Scoboblio
Crikey only 51. I thought he was older. Mr Pininfarina's designs have been around a long time. His grandfather started the company, I never knew but when a car company says 'styling by Pininfarina' they must be referring to the company rather than the man himself. Alex
Indeed the company will still carry on...it wasn't him doing the actual designs afaik. Still it's always bad to lose a life early.
