Need a few bits to finish project..LOL Especially interested if anyone knows about torque converters from 2JZ to Ford powerglide box:search: as it is without one, But otherwise one hell of a supra! Will be following your updates with great interest For the prop/housing stuff it might be worth a chat with likes of calder or DJ Craig as I think they've run the same setup. Chris Wilson Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 You'd probably use the T/C for the Powerglide with a custom made flex plate. Personally I thnk you'd be better with a Lenco in it than a 2 speed Powerglide. 2 speeds aren't much for a boosted engine with a big turbo. It needs a BIG N/A V8 really... Could also be worth giving Webster Race Engineering a call, they do a lot of jap stuff now and have worked on a lot of the HKS drag cars incl the CRD Supra, as well as working on big yank tanks, so im sure they'd be able to help you out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
