WHat's the best way to tackle removing the 1st cat chaps?

I attempted it myself on my last Supra, but it annoyed the cack out of me!!! Partly because I removed the whole exhaust and replaced it at the same time.

Last time I took it to my local tyre type place and it took them 2 days to get it off! lol.

Any ideaS?

Squirt some plus gas on the nuts the night before or get a blow lamp on them to get the red hot. Use a breaker bar and go in from underneath the car to crack off the 3 nuts that hold the first cat onto the manifold. The two nuts/bolts that connect onto the 2nd cat/decat are a doddle to get off, (just watch the knuckles!)

i wouldnt use a blow torch, you can easily snap em clean off then you will be pi**ed. ive done it and ive seen it done. plenty of plus gas for 2 days before and a long extension and breaker bar and take your time.
