Autobahn 88 na manifold

Has anyone fitted an autobahn 88 exhaust manifold? I have seen them for sale on ebay and wanted to know if they were any good.

I have their FMIC and no probs so far - hope its ok for you, post up a pic if you get it fitted

I've seen this. A few of us were discussing if it looked any good. TBH the welds look very poor.

i had an autobahn manifold on my starlet and the head flange warped within 2 weeks

this has been done recently in another post i think, odd mounting angles for the 02 sensors mind. I think one may fowl the engine.

also i had supports welded onto my starlet manifold and apparently it was a right b*stard to weld

if its cheap then there is a reason, Nic doesn't knock them out for £300 for no reason or to be greedy

To be fair though, my ASI rad was 109 quid compared to a 450 quid Koyo. Quality is good but with this manifold the metal has to withstand a different kettle of fish, but with welds like that...

I also run an ASI rad and its very good, some good stuff coming out of china these days but that manifold looks weak, no where near the quality of Nics of which I had one. plus it has extra weld points and the headers don't incorporate the tubing at all, they are just welded onto the flanges. Still someone must have one fitted ?

How did you fit your 02 sensors into the pipe? I heard the bolts are not threaded.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread guys, Im in AUS so we have JDM supras here (you guys are RHD right?). Just wondering if anybody has any feedback regarding either of the OBX or Autobahn88 headers, links to both of them:

I'd like to get the OBX ones because they appear to be of better quality and also includes a mid pipe and gaskets, I need to make sure they clear the steering column though, so can anybody confirm this? I've messaged one of the sellers who said they've sold plenty to the UK and AUS, I messaged another one in the US who said they are only designed for US-spec supras... Also general feedback regarding fitment/performance would be great.

Dazzi I remember messaging you on youtube regarding your Blitz exhaust, that was inspiration for getting one of my own!

The mid pipe on the OBX one looks longer than the standard 2nd catalytic convertor to me, if it is, it would be possible to fit the 2nd cat come MOT time (UK annual car test). It also has screw in O2 bosses so won't fit the standard O2 sensors.
