My new ECU - Solaris S6GP

Quick question Ryan / Wes please. Do they offer a mapping box with potentiometers to set fuel and ignition, or is it all keyboard based? I am feeling like having a play mapping an ecu, but would really much prefer a mapping box where you twirl a knob at any given load site, then press a button to enter the settings into the ecu memory. I know EFI Technology offer this, and DTA or MBE, and once, many moons ago, Motec had one which may have been experimental. Cheers. Good to see new stuff being tried independently.

Hi Chris

Solaris dont offer this type of tool sorry, I guess it would be quite useful for mapping an N/A on a dyno but im not sure i would want to use such a tool on a Forced induction engine due to the heat aspects.

Also when using that type of tool will it give you any degree of adjustment. Ie Fine and course like you can with the Solaris software. This is another good point to ensure the perfect afr based on every cell. This is something the aem really could do with.

The S6 already has the triggering for the skyline done also if you fancy one ;)
