power steering

Check power steering fluid level, it is either low fluid and air in the system or pump on it's way out. To bleed remove the cap and whilst stationary with the engine running turn the steering lock to lock a few times, this should get rid of any trapped air, you may need to top up fluid again after.

If the fluid is low, then you may have a slight leak somewhere, check around the pump and the steering rack for leaking fluid.

nic, to bleed the system the wheels need to be off the ground, and turn the wheel with engine off, then put on the ground, do the same with engine running ;)

I have a leak in mine with the same symptoms. If you bleed the system, top up the fluid then bleed again you won't have any problems.

But I would check for a leak as well. Bottom of the PS pump is common - the seals go on them.

Good luck mate :)
