Mega Overboost

My car is full BPU, with Greddy SMIC and Blitz Dual Boost controller.

Anyway, i gave it a lil boot, then pressed the memory button on my boost controller to see wot it boosted at... 2.0 Bar!

Never gone anywhere near that high before. Thing is it never done this again, when i was booting it for the rest of the night.

Could this have anything to do with my BOV? As it was leaking slightly, so i made up some pipe to secure the leak, but since doing this it doesnt 'whooosh' as much so to speak.

Any ideas gents?

Yes restrictor ring fitted Tdr.

Maybe there is a split somewhere? Cos 2.0 Bar would have probably cooked somthing!

2 bar at standstill is impressive! lol

Thing is for the rest of the journey it was hitting 1.1 bar so dont understand what caused that one off?

Will take it for a spin tomorrow and see if i can locate any split hoses.

when i fitted my new defi guages it was sat at 2 bar with the warning going off. then after a few off and ons it was reading too high by about .5 bar. then off and on again it was reading low by about a bar. then after a few trips like that reverted back to normal. wierd but it was all ok :p
