suprattgaz
OK, so better explain myself more:blink:. I have a few lights floating about due to me playing with the clear lense conversion. Anyway, this is a pair of lights I have fully re-conditioned using pre-facelift inner and main body (with side light) and a facelift lense. Effectively a facelift light for pre-facelift owners. Confused - see the pictures.... I have sprayed the inner matt black, and left the two chrome rings. The lenses have been off, and polished back to brilliant clear again. THESE ARE LIKE NEW!!! (the pictures don't do them justice) As with my clear lenses for sale, these will pass UK MOT. I am very pround of these - and would put them on mine if I hadn't already got a set. I think for the effort/parts gone into them £250 + P&P is fair. These must be unique and would finish any Supra fantasically?! I will post non UK if required - be warned that does cost a small fortune!

jackso11
So these are still plastic lenses right? UK spec are glass....so these are basically facelift (look) J-spec with the insides painted black. Am I right?
suprattgaz
Yes. There are three types of light, Pre facelift - plastic with scatter Facelift - plastic clear UK - glass with scatter. I have used pre facelift light body and removed the old yellowed scatter type lense and replaced it with a re-conditioned facelift lense.
jackso11
Whats the difference between facelift and pre-facelift other than the clear screen? From the description it seems like you have removed the clear plastic from a platic from a one set of lights and put it on another set with no difference? I am sure there is something I am missing though.

I am sure there is something I am missing though. the real difference is on the inside, facelifts have a completely different inside thats carbon instead of silver, these have the silver painted black not the carbon facelift insides, gaz has taken some pre facelifts, painted the (pre facelift) insides matt black, then put a facelift lense back on, presumably because it was much cleaner than the original he took off, youre right facelift lense/pre facelift lense it doesnt make a huge ammount of difference, (though they are 'slightly' different as gaz says)
