brake booster push rod adjust

I am installing a brake master cylinder and using the manuals to guide me through. It statesd at the start to "adjust the brake booster push rod length"

 

Now i can adjust it no problem but i don't have the SST to measure the correct length to adjust it to.

 

Is there another way of getting the right length of this rod.
