DaveSupTT
Im going to be removing my engine from my Auto Twin Turbo sometime in the next couple of weeks. A couple of questions. 1) Can the Engine be removed with the turbos still attached. Also is it possible to remove the engine with the fuel injection system and radiator still in place. 2) Is there a checklist at all that I could follow which basically goes through what needs to be disconnected prior to pulling the engine? Cheers
Nic
See Toyota manual here, towards the end it shows step by step procedure for removing the engine. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/EM%20(2JZ-GTE).pdf

Cheers Yes, to the turbos and all the intake staying attached, a definite NO to doing it with the rad in situ.. Get the copies of the factory manuals that are up for sale from time to time, or the OE ones from any Toyota dealer.
