manifold

i have a big oil leak coming from the oil feed/drain pipe the one that goes into the bottom of the turbo, the leak has been there sometime and noticed its dripping straight onto the manifold.

The problem i have is when i tighten the fitting it makes the fitting(not pipe) touch the manifold, i know thats not ideal but would it be ok i have cut my fingers getting the compressor side of the exaust off (with my minimun amount of tools)

I wouldnt want things touching TBH mate. With the temps they get up to and the movement that occurs under boost.

I think you need to have the fitting taken off, more lock tight put on and re-fitted.

Please bear in mine that i dont have an ounce of technical knowledge but enjoy type things on the forum.
