AMG
Saab's generally have the elder gentleman driving them but just lately i have started to really like the 9-3 Aero (or Aero convertible). Is it me getting old or has anyone else noticed that these look really nice cars? Not test drove one but wouldn't mind. Not that i could afford one. Anyone on here got one? If so what do you think of them?
Bobbeh
Yeah, my uncle has one, its quick and very refined.
Soop Dogg
Funnily enough, Angie and I just test drove one last week. Very refined, comfortable and pretty quick. It was a black 2.0 93 Aero Turbo. Angie too just wonders about the image though. (This will be a work car though, not replacing the Supra with something like this!) Guest Usmann A
well made, torque monsters, and well adanced ECU setups. Use to have the old Carlsson in 92, now a heavily modified AERO. Real sleeper, get the odd look from the Porsche turbo owners .. when you are still on thier bumper ..
SkyJawa
"Torque Monsters" Indeed. Making them "Torque Steering Monsters"
Guest Usmann A
things can be done to reduce this drasticly ...
AMG
I think if i, for some unknown reason, got rid of the soop, i could be very tempted by one of these. Love the idea of modding one.
SkyJawa
things can be done to reduce this drasticly ... Indeed, but not altogether However, I also like them, makes a change from the usual BM, Merc stuff
Guest Usmann A
Indeed, but not altogether umm ... its is FWD my friend. especially when you have over double the factory torque figure ... I agree, but I only like the 9000/900 series, new stuff dont appeal to me.TBH
SkyJawa
The new Focus ST is getting the Saab 2.5l Turbo unit!
Muffleman
I had a 9-5 2.0 low pressure turbo for a couple of years, twas very comfy and drove very well. But even that had trouble with toque steer. FWD is just so wrong
