Corsa 1.2 soon for sale, good first car

My GF passed her test in March and to get her started I bought her a 1.2 Corsa from a family member it's a 94 Corsa B, 2 door petrol. I stuck a new MOT on it then and the only thing I had to get it through was replace the handbrake cable and rear fog light.

Well a few months on she has decided she wants a diesel and we picked one up this weekend so in the next week or so the Corsa will be up for sale. It's tatty, tacky (with it's lexus lights, Pioneer 10" speakers in the parcel shelf and big back box) but it's cheap and so far reliable and she has been clocking up to 500 miles a week in it, thus the desire for a diesel. Taxed to the end of August and MOTd till March 09

Low tax and insurance and a great 1st car for someone. Looking for about £400, can provide photos if anyone interested, just PM me.

Cheers, Shane

Oh mate, sorry but no. I need to take of various bits to go on her new one (also a Corsa but a TD) and she needs it to get back and forth from Sleaford to my house. I wont get chance now to do all the swapping of wheels and stuff until Sunday as I am working away thursday through to saturday. Sorry mate but TBH it wont be available until about Monday next week, 4th of Aug.

Is this going back to standard then? i.e no lex-arse lights and big daft speakers and exhaust etc :D

Send me a couple of photos please and let me know what the milage is :)

Thanks

OK score is, it has Lexus lights on and they will stay, it has a pillar pod with LED afr gauge and digital rev counter, they will stay, it has red neons in the foot wells they will stay, it has recaro seat from a GSI something in the drivers position and the seat base/frame is from a van so it has a height adjustment too (changed it because Carmel reckoned old seat was hurting her back, this will stay, but I have the original seat & base/frame also. It has 2 pioneer 10 inch speakers on the parcel shelf, they will stay. Has a back box from a 16V something Corsa on it and that will stay, its a proper fit but has a much larger tail pipe. It has a cheapie induction kit and that will stay. Has after market wing mirrors with repeater lights and they will stay.

CD player is coming out and a stock GM cass player going back. 15" alloys coming off and stock steels going on (13"). Will try to add some pics in the next day or so.. Oh and it had new plug leads, dizzy cap, plugs and oil and filter change just before we bought it.

basically its a 400 quid corsa with a bit of rent and 8 moons test on it. Cost £460ish to insure her at 21 and no no claims as she just passed her test.

OK added some pictures I took of the car in March when we first bought it. See first post, but note that these pics show damaged front bumper that I replaced and a stupid fat boy back box that I have since replaced and flogged on ebay :). Its also had a bit of a polish since then and new number plates. The worst bit of bodywork is the ding in the front wing which I managed to push out a bit since the photo was taken. If anyone wants anymore up to date pics then let me know.

Bump.

This is now available if anyone is interested. Has good set of 13s on it on standard steel rims as I have put the alloys on her new one. Will add some up to date photos later today, MOTd til March 19th and we have the V5.

  • 2 weeks later...
any reason why picture 2 and picture 4 are of different cars?

Mike

All the pictures of the red corsa are of the same car, some taken in march that I had on my phone, and others (most) taken more recently. If you are interested I could sell you either car, but I could only sell you one, not both sorry.
