dangerous Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 hi guys could do with some help my cruise control dont work. looked at the other threads about cruise control they dont help. only had the car a few months and the CC has never worked. there is no real mods been done to the car ony an after market head unit and tom racing dials other than that all stock. my question is,is there a common reason for the CC not to work? thanks dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tomssupra Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Hi Dave... The Cruise Control definitely worked when I had it, I used to use it on the Motorway sometimes. Are you sure you are engaging it correctly? You have to get to the speed you want, then, if I remember correctly, turn it on by pressing the button in on the end of the stick, then click up or down to set it. dangerous Posted July 29, 2008 Author Share Posted July 29, 2008 will check the fuses (should have done that 1st lol) as nothing happens when i press the CC on button at any speed. only asked as a mate told me on some jap cars if you change the stock head unit it messes up the cruies control guess thats not the case with the supra then.
