Jim_1979
Ok guys... just changed the plugs, and stil stutter on high boost. I've ordered a set of coilpack clips from envy. Curious as to how you go about changing them? Obviously you unclip them from the coil packs, but how do you disconnect from the wiring etc, etc?? any help appreciated!! supra_si
just what i was looking for, i just changed my plugs and found that all the clips had perished, looks like the guy before me decided not to change the plugs for sum time due to the shards falling down around the plugs. with a help of a dyson and a home made tweezer we finally got the shards out. just need new clips now. how much did u get them for from envy pal?? Mike M
I dismantled each of mine yesterday to try and push back the metal part on each wire to make sure I was getting a good connection to the coil pack. Just remember the orange and black wire always goes to the clip side of the connectors and you'll be fine Oh and take regular breaks as its hard on the knees trying to reach in the engine bay. I was trying to fix a small missfire i get at idle. Cheers Mike

Scott
I got mine from whifbitz, much cheaper than that. Use a screwdriver to take out the white part from the ones u are removing, its easy after that.

Mike M
The mind boggles at just how you must have been attempting this.... , I've a tendancy to lean against the drivers wing locking my knees and then lean on the engine with my elbows and things start to hurt. Can never get comfy working in there.
Jim_1979
I've noticed that problem. No matter what angle you go for you still have to stretch like a mofo!
Mike M
I've noticed that problem. No matter what angle you go for you still have to stretch like a mofo! Aye, the worst is when reaching the two spark plugs closest to the windscreen it's like a form of torture.
Jim_1979
Yip!! I was under the bonnet yesterday sweating like a trooper trying to get the coilpack back onto the two rear plugs. A bluddy nightmare!!
