SILKYSMOOTH
Just an observation but why do many car club forums all have the same format and style and several that I have visited all look like the supra forum but just with a different name.... are they all owned/created by the same people? or do they just replicate the site? Kranz
Look at the bottom of the page. They all use "vBulletin - Copyright ©2000 - 2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd"

arvind8811
Forums like these are open source ready built software(please correct me if i'm wrong), thats why they all look the same! Some forums use different skins which may look better. Can we have a forum jump drop down if its possible? its quiet helpful actually
SILKYSMOOTH
A friend popped over last night and I showed him the forum and he said "oh this site looks just like the FIAT forum that I am member to"....and I also have been researching a few others and found that they are the same too. Now I know, thanks... You learn something everyday.
PJ
Forums like these are open source ready built software(please correct me if i'm wrong), thats why they all look the same! vBulletin is licensed software. http://vbulletin.com We currently offer two types of license: leased and owned. The leased license will allow you to run the software on your server for one year, and then you will need to purchase another license. The owned license will allow you to run the software on your server for an unlimited amount of time and allows access to all new versions for one year. After the year, you can purchase a renewal of this access. For more information, please click on the links in the "Product Information" section on the left hand side of the page. There are other BBS outthere that are open source like phpBB2 etc etc

michael
Mine is a different colour to the defaults but at the end of the day you can't really do much to change them without them becoming unusable.
