Iv been working for my company for 2 years now and they have finaly said they will take me onto the LGV team Iv just sent off my D2 and D4 for after having my medical, also sent off for a digital Tackograth Card I take it the next step is to study then book the theory test (Is this test for the whole of class 2 and 1?) Basicly im looking for any advice... What books. CD's maybe, quicker ways to get this done... TurboBrett Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 i am doing my CAT C in the coming months and as part of my course (doing a block course thing) i got a book called "the official dsa theory test for the drivers of large vehicles" its £17 but mine was free (well sort of)...imo well worth it every question they can ask is in there i already have had my medical and got my provisionals, however as the trucks i was going to drive didnt have a digi tacho i dont have a card for it, do i need one? supra-lover Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 tacograph is easy mate don't worry too much about that, my firm only have 3 trucks which have the new digital systems in, you will find most still use the disc's... as for the theory just get the test book from a book shop i got mine from w&h smiths for about £15i think i passed first time not too hard mate, i now have my class one but don't really use it,,,i drive a 8 wheeled hiab lorry now and love it good luck chap Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Am going to burn that DSA cd tonight and take it to work to practice there. I did a mock car theory test last night online and failed! lol think i need to brush up!
