Jamesy W
Whatever you do, DO NOT take the 6500 slide, it's a piece of sh!t. The classic is a much better phone, my slide broke half a dozen times in the few months I owned it. I ended up telling o2 to ram it. No problems with the classic whatsoever. Not a fan of the 95 either tbh. To bulky and half the features you would probably never use anyway.

Thanks so much for the post mate, somebody else told me as well that the slide is a weak phone and it breaks, also i saw the N95 and its really big and heavy..... Jamesy W
No worries dude, I had the N95 for 45 minutes and gave it to my brother, like I say it is mahoosive. The classic is very slim and stylish, the only thing I would say is that the battery life can be short depending on usage, I'm charging mines once every two days, but that is with my girlfriend yapping my ear every ten minutes talking guff. Thing is the N95 is worth a whole lot more than the classic so should you go with that, you could always sell the handset, then buy a brand new classic and be a couple hundred quid better off. Homer
Homer lol what can i say to you.................. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ..................................nothing. ROBERT!!! im coming over to puncture your tyres lol You can say what you like chap, especially if I'm the one taking the mick. Phones are all about what you use them for. If you want one that does everything well, it's best to buy basic along with a digicam and ipod. If not then define what you want to use it for. Out of the lot I'd go for 6500 classic, but it's only an adequate phone. Are those your only options?
adnanshah247
homer i was so close to getting the 6500 classic. and your right i need the phone for just calls and stuff, basic stuff and i doubt the 6500 will go wrong. Robert though has tempted me to get the iPhone. just checked it out and has a warranty regardless of what happens to it but still a chunky big phone. sdavies
Depends what you want from a phone, depends what you want to spend on a phone and the contract. My 3 contract ran out so I said eff orf, and they came back and said ok - 12 month contract @ £20 month with 50 extra texts a month and +200 mins and unlimited internet and a new Sony Ericsson K800i (this was a few months ago and you can buy a SE K800i for 70 notes now pay as you go)) - I couldn't say no at the time and the phone is fine as a phone - in fact I like it very much (sad to say as a prior Nokia fan boi that its API's/features out shone Nokias Series 40/60 by a mile), actually not bad at all as a camera and fine for feckin about with and 3 have their own cell linked GPS for google maps. (I write software for phones too, and it fares quite well). The iPhone is a lovely piece of kit - I cannot justify it for my own needs. I develop for the bloody thing, yet it is too expensive for me to shell out for. I get time share with developers from my company so I see it whenever. I would rather buy new drop links for the Supra than shell out for an iPhone mind Horses for courses.

JustGav
Blackberry 8120 everytime for me at the moment (but my requirements are different)... Instead of the usual iphone and n95/6 options, has anybody looked at the HTC Diamond touch (pretty much an iphone clone), I'm getting one an eval so will post up reviews. Benzsupra
I have an N95 8GB and i think it's poo! It's slow, it crashes, the pc suite isn't mac compatible so i've had so get special software from somewhere else to make it work. You'd think with the way mac sales have boosted they would have made things like phones compatible! rant over
