Knocking over bumps

Sounds fairly straightforward, getting a knocking noise over bumps/dips in the road sounds/feels like the front drivers side.

Checked and tightened sub frame bolts. Checked anti-roll bar, undone it and driven it like that and knock still there. Had suspension struts off and checked them and swapped them left to right and the knock is still on the same side. Looking at the bushes they seem ok on a visual inspection, top arm plenty of spring in it and stiff, ball joint firm and smooth.

I feel the knock more through the floor/pedals than the steering wheel which is a bit odd.

I'm hoping to jack it up this weekend and really give everything a good prying etc.

Any suggestions, bottom arm perhaps? It's getting really annoying and doesn't inspire confidence!

Thanks Ben

Has briefly crossed my mind, I would be very surprised but I will definately be having a look.

I also have a knock/cluck when coming off the accelerator in any gear, I think this is more gearbox related but wonder if there could be movement if it was engine mounts
