bolarbag
For someone to spend 120K on a car I reckon they would be lucky to do 180miles in a month! As previously mentioned though, the consumption will be a lot more on spirited runs so that 180miles could easily drop What I'd like to know was how much it cost to charge, electricity prices would go through the roof if all thats needed is a 3-phase supply! We dont have the infra-structure for this, think how easy the system could be manipulated, its not going to be cheaper thats for sure

ivan
The website just says 10 minute charge for upto 200 miles. They interviewed the MD on the news and he said that would be in commercial outlets only. Home charging would take "considerably longer". He also specified the 180 mile range.
Daston
I was having a laugh with my mates years back how they would make cd's of engine noises for electric cars, turns out I wasnt that far out!

Where conventional electricity is concerned there will always be a way to fudge meters/outlets e.t.c Bring it on I say;)
RiceRocket
Pedestrian/Road accidents are going shoot up when these are the majority on the roads because no-one won't hear them coming. We'll probably have to customise them with personal engine soundtracks

We'll probably have to customise them with personal engine soundtracks they already come with engine soundtracks. The one above can change from a V6 sound to a V12 at the push of a button! However it will be boring as hell to own no engine to fiddle with
