baojun
Now having a TRD speedo which came with the supra. Speedo up to 320km. It only has KM readings. Thinking of delimit now. Friends advice me to convert to miles as well, but the problem is that if the speedo runs in miles (e.g. old 80km = 80 miles now). After convertion the problems will be: Problem 1: Most of the time, the needle will not pass half of the speedo ( will not always drive more than 120 miles, dont want to get too much stone chip). Problem 2: The different between e.g. 20 & 25 or 40 & 45 can't be seen clear as the gap between them is small. What do you guys think? Thanks baojun
Saint AAI
If it doesnt bother you reading in KM then i'd say leave it as it is, save confusion as to how many miles on the clock are miles and how many are KM's. My opinion.
neilg
Mate if you change can i have your speedo? Currently have a blitz 320 KM one and a trd 10000K tacho. Bit of a mismatch would be nice to get a matching one. I have still left mine in kms, doesnt bother me too much.
supRo
I've got the same speedo, same issue. I'm having it converted to miles (at Thor) and a custom dial face put onto it but it will be chrome. I'm having some of it done next weekend so remind me and I'll tell you what will happen exactly to the clock. My dial will be scanned and I will come back two weeks later to have the new one fitted - Thor will probably put the new dial face on their website so if you want one, you won't have to wait as mines gonna be the prototype for TRD dial conversion. My opinion. The speedo and the odometer are completely independant of each other.
baojun
THanks for your opinions. Anyway, if I want to keep in KMs and only delimit, is the TRUST GREDDY SPEED LIMITER CUT CONTROLLER good enough?
