Dazzi
I've nearly finished porting and stuffing my petrol RC truck to 28.5cc (5hp - without race exhaust) and want to squeeze that little bit more power out of it. V-power isn't strong enough but running on 30% nitromethane was - the engine wouldn't shut off when I disconnected the spark lead as the plug was white hot. Ideally 1 or 2 gallons for now just to test the strength and Must be 102 octane or more. Thanks Edit: After 1:1 car race fuel not RC model fuel
Daston
your a crazy guy! However I didnt realise there were so many aftermarket parts avaliable for RC cars, out of interest what site do you use? Sorry cant help with race fuel
Dazzi
lol, I used to run an unrestricted shot of nos before the engine died. Also I managed to source a one off RC turbo - a little different to the real thing. It accelerated a little quicker but nothing special. Most of my parts come from ebay, other places are RC nuts, Modelsport Uk, and I think King motors was another but not used them in a while. Theres loads of places. I had a Team Associated T4 that was fully alloy and topped 70mph with a 5000kv Brushless motor with quark ESC. RC can be a crazy yet fun hobby
