j_jza80
Enthusiast owned VW Corrado VR6 manual Midnight blue / black leather. Due to ordering a new Supra, I have to regretfully put my lovely Corrado VR6 up for sale. She's a 1993 K reg with just under 108,00 miles on the clock. The general condition of the car is very good, here's a few details. EXTERIOR She has a few minor marks on the outside, but all in keeping with the age of the vehicle. Generally the Midnight blue paintwork is excellent and has a very deep blue/black to it, which turns a lovely mid blue in direct sunlight. She has had some stone chip repair done on the front of the bonnet which is only noticeable under close inspection. I would grade the exterior as being in very good order for the age of the car, and will certainly be one of the better ones around of this age. The car is fitted with its factory speedline alloys which are in fairly good condition. They have corrosion but again is in keeping with the age of the car. They are fitted with nearly new Toyo T1R tyres which in my opinion are one of the best road tyres around. INTERIOR The black leather interior of this Corrado is simply stunning. I genuinely believe you will struggle to find one elsewhere in this condition, certainly at this price. It is completely unmarked other than a 1cm long impression on the passenger doorcard, but this is only visible on close inspection, and some mior marks around the stereo when it hads been removed at some point. The seats do not show any wear whatsoever. The seat heaters also work exactly as they should. The car comes fitted with an aftermarket cd player / radio. Everything works exactly as it should. DRIVING The car performs flawlessly. It pulls hard in every gear, and is capable of embarrasing alot of more expensive / modern vehicles, not only in a straight line but also on corners. If you have ever driven a VR6 before, you will not be dissapointed. The car starts and runs perfectly. Any Corrados real partypiece is in the handling, and again this one does not dissapoint. The brakes operate perfectly and have loads of life left in both the discs and pads. SERVICE / MECHANICALS The car comes with loads of service history and reciepts (Literally a shoebox full!) It is mot'd until September and taxed until December. I have maintained the car myself since purchasing it last October. I carried out a full oil and filter change 3 days ago, and also changed the spark plugs. The car runs really well, and engine, gearbox etc are all in good order for the age of the car. This car never misses a beat. The only modifications the car is fitted with are a magnex cat back exhaust and a K+N panel filter which is fitted inside the standard air box. The car came with these fitted when I purchased it. The sunroof and active rear spoiler(which are common problems on these cars) operate exactly as they should. SUMMARY This is a tidy, honest example of the VR6. Im looking for £3700 ovno. I will consider offers but i'm certainly not going to give the car away. This is a very regretful sale for an excellent car that has given me alot of satisfaction in owning and fond memories. I will consider a PX with an NA auto.
